Frequently asked questions

How do I award a medal?

Go to the People tab and pick a person (or tap "Award Yourself a Medal"), or tap any medal in the Medal Guide. Choose the activity, tier, and add a note, then award it.

How does someone receive medals from me?

Open that person's screen and choose "Invite to see medals" to send them a private link. When they open it on their device, the medals you've given them appear automatically and update as you add more.

Do I need iCloud?

Yes — Kudoly stores and syncs your medals through your private iCloud account. Make sure you're signed into iCloud with iCloud Drive on. You can also use the app on a single device without sharing.

How do I report or block a sender?

On your medals screen, open the menu (•••) and choose "Report a Concern" to email us, or "Block This Sender" to stop receiving their medals and remove their content from your device. We act on reports within 24 hours where practicable.

How do I delete my data?

Use "Delete All Data" from the account menu to erase everything from your device and iCloud. You can also remove the app's iCloud data in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud.

Does Kudoly work on Apple Watch?

Yes. Recipients get a companion Apple Watch app that mirrors their medals, including the unboxing reveal and per-activity counts.
